Overall Experience
Loved the people and the intimate program and how good I got at French! - Connecticut College View Entire Review
I gained a greater confidence in French speaking and listening, as well as general confidence and independence- though I mostly blame having to figure out the fickle metro system for the latter two. Definitely worthwhile. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned that I can be independent and that it's not as scary as it seems. I mastered a city and it's transportation system; something that I never thought I would do. I gained a new cultural perspective and understanding of how foreigners must feel when they come to the U.S. It was 100% worthwhile. - Connecticut College View Entire Review
Past Review Super Cool
I became more independent, established a joy to life encouraged by the French lifestyle. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned that I really dislike the French education system and really enjoy the American one. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review Amazing!
It was worthwhile I learned so much-- not just for the language and the culture, but about independence and the like. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. I gained a lot of confidence in myself and my ability to navigate the world and challenging new situations. I think the experience was very hard for me and at times draining, but I loved pushing myself and I am so happy to have gained so much confidence from the experience, and also I have gained a ... - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I had been abroad for a semester before in a different country, but this was a completely different experience for me. I learned a lot about myself; my tendencies and a lot deeper about my personality. I definitely learned how to get where I want to be, stand for myself, open myself up to making friends with Parisians, and take ... - Brandeis University View Entire Review
My french language ability increased enormously. I am practically fluent now. The culture was incredible, it was definitely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Not only did my French vastly improve in terms of comprehension and fluency, but I also gained a greater understanding of French, and also European, culture and mindsets. As a studio art major, I was able to see in person many great works of art that I have studied in previous years. Every studio art or art history major should ... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was more than worthwhile. I learned more about myself. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
The world has so much to offer so studying abroad allowed me to appreciate all that I saw. I definitely became more independent and I gained confidence in traveling by myself. I traveled to other countries in addition to living in France which gave me insight into other cultures and how other people live in the world. I have a g... - Providence College View Entire Review
If I could give 10 stars I would. There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I could re-live it. I wish I had done more, seen more, and lived more. But I have already gained better language and personal skills, and am much more culturally aware. It taught me to see myself as a citizen of much more than Maine or New York o... - Fordham University View Entire Review

I learned so much but I got to develop my french which mattered the most - Brandeis University View Entire Review
The program was definitely worth while! I gained plenty of experience of executing personal goals in unfamiliar locations. - Williams College View Entire Review
Got better at speaking French and more comfortable with speaking to other people - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself and my independence. I would without a doubt say that my abroad experience was worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Naturally. There is always an element of perspective leveling when one studies abroad. I've got great comprehension skills now, but my linguistic ones really aren't as strong as I'd hoped. It's also a really great exercise in independence and inter social skills. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
My language skills exploded while in Paris. I learned so much, saw so much, and had amazing experiences. It was most definitely worthwhile. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
My French definitely improved a lot, particularly my accent. Obviously it was a ton of fun and a gained a lot of confidence in navigating Paris and other places independently. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I became a lot more self-aware, learned to try new things and always be willing to explore. I love Europe and hope to return soon. I think that if I had to choose again, I would look for more scientific and public health oriented programs, or take more science classes at the university. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My French is much improved. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I did not significantly improve my French, but studying abroad in Paris exceeded my expectations. I was very much integrated into French culture and made many local friends. - Trinity University View Entire Review
Past Review A City In Dreams
Being immersed in the culture, connecting with French people, Musical and artistic insight, Learning to enjoy gastronomie... It was definitely more than worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I gained a great understanding of the dynamics of the relationships between people. I focused on French immersion, but Nice is an international city with other cultures. As a result of being abroad I have decided that I would like to teach english in Europe after I graduate. Study abroad has only enhanced my interest for unde... - Providence College View Entire Review
