About

The turmoil of the mid-90s has turned Croatia’s beauty into something of a secret. Today, you can feel the adoration that consumed Diocletian wash over you in Split, where the Roman emperor’s former palace remains the best place to watch the Adriatic churn. The sea’s same electric blues find harmony with the sun-washed stone of Dubrovnik, a city still scarred from its fight for independence. After experiencing four other Croatian cities each with incredible sights to offer, we will journey north to the Czech Republic to explore Prague, the famous City of Hundred Spires. Witness how this historic city has outlasted flirtations with fascism, the forced installation of communism and is home to a thriving economic and cultural scene in central Europe. This amazing twelve day trip will give students a tremendous insight into the European Union’s latest addition-Croatia, while also allowing us to experience part of Old Europe, Prague, in the Czech Republic.
