What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained the ability to speak Spanish in full sentences and now I’m able to hold a full conversation! I also gained lifelong travel buddies and best friends!

Sol was amazing, and all aspects of my trip were everything I hoped they’d be.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 50 euro
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Save as much as you can! Shopping is fun and souvenirs are a must! The restaurants are great, and I probably spent too much money going out to eat with the other students I met there, but I’d say it was definitely worth it.

I spoke in the native language I was learning (Spanish) EVERY DAY! I’ve never learned more than I did while in Spain.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Just keep speaking it. You’ll find yourself forming better sentences and it’ll start to flow better the more you practice! Talk outside of class with the classmates you meet, and your family, and your wait staff or taxi drivers!
