Different culture aspects, improved language skills, amazing friends, got to visit different cities in Spain and countries in Europe, great relationship with host families, learned a lot about the culture and history of Spain. Yes, it was worthwhile.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? around 60ish euros when I was not traveling.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? If you stay with a host family try to always eat at home, so you don't spend that much money on food
