The program was great in that it allowed you to have a very flexible schedule so you could learn the language, take classes, and have an internship all at the same time.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 3,000 including food and entertainment along with books and trips.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would say you should be prepared to spend more if you want to travel by plane within the country, but if you chose the train you'll be fine.
