In my opinion, a study abroad experience could only not be worthwhile if a student sulked and complained the whole time. Anywhere you go you can find beauty, you can find something interesting and new to learn about that.
That being said, I was enchanted by Sevilla. It's a city with so much history and so much current energy....

From flamenco and tapas to winding ancient cobblestone streets, students will immerse themselves in a new world of culture, opportunities, and knowledge. SSA offers: semester, year-long, short-term (May, January and Summer), as well as Internship and Service Learning Opportunities and the Practicum in Education. We offer courses in English and Spanish, Spanish language requirements vary by program. We offer two scholarship options for students attending our regular academic programs in Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Argentina (this does not include faculty-led programs). You may submit an application to only one scholarship: Merit-Based or Diversity. Students may apply for the Merit-Based or Diversity Scholarship prior to their acceptance in an SSA program, but only accepted students may receive a scholarship. *Please note: Spanish Studies Abroad Scholarships cannot be applied to program costs, including tuition. Scholarships are meant to offset extra expenses while abroad, such as flights, gifts, entertainment, etc.
