Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I am used to taking science courses so just the fact that I was taking mostly humanities was different for me but everything seems fair, the teachers and the grading system were all fair.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was excellent. They were very accommodating and helpful and the size was perfect and I got everything out of my study abroad experience that I wanted to.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Food was great, my host mom cooked all my meals and she was very accommodating to what we did and did not like as well as any allergies we had.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Our program arranged several trips around the south of spain and all of them were chaperoned by the professors who were able to be our tour guides and tell us everything about where we were and what we were seeing. I got to do a lot of traveling on my own as well as attend several festivals and fairs that were being held around the city.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt safe, we were all told of where the main hospitals were and what we were to do if we had an emergency. I fwe got sick a professor would accompany us to the hospital.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Be prepared to spend a lot. If you want to have the best experience you can while youre abroad try as much as possible to not be hindered by financial burdens or else you could miss out on something truly spectacular.
