Overall Experience
It was really amazing to be able to experience Barcelona at lower capacity. I feel like I truly got to know the city. yes - very worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Before my semester abroad I had never been out of the country. Being in Spain and in Europe I learned to appreciate other cultures and branch out of my shy tendencies. It also gave me the nerves to finally speak Spanish with people other than my grandparents without feeling like I was being judged. - University of Hartford View Entire Review
I gained about 10 pounds and a lot of international experience. I also learned so much about the culture from living with a host family. It was completely worthwhile. - Birmingham-Southern College View Entire Review

About

Spain’s second largest city, Barcelona embodies every quality of a European city and stands out in the spheres of culture, finance, business and tourism. Barcelona integrates tradition and modernity as its Roman and Medieval past combine with modernist and contemporary architecture.

The city hosts one of the largest university communities in Europe: 200,000 students and more than 15,000 professors. Design, music, fashion, art and cinema professionals are part and parcel of this dynamic city, where a broad offer in culture, sports, leisure and nature activities rounds out the spectrum of opportunities. Its location on the shores of the Mediterranean, its gentle climate and its open, cosmopolitan character make Barcelona an extraordinary place to study.

We offer a plethora of opportunities in Barcelona, including an academic year, semester, or short-term (summer) study abroad. Take your courses in ENGLISH or SPANISH and discover our NEW Summer Study Abroad in English during the month of June!
