A student studying abroad with Sol Education Abroad: Heredia - Latin University of Costa Rica
I learned how to speak Spanish, gained invaluable friends, and learned about what it was like to live in a more or less impoverished country with a family. Also, the biological differences in produce and environment were astounding! Totally interesting and worthwhile! When I look back on my experience abroad ten years from now, I'm sure I'll still be thankful for the opportunity. I'm fearless now. I'm so much more open-minded. I feel like I can conquer any struggle in my life because nothing is scarier than being dropped into a country, into a HOUSE, where your language isn't the primary. Nothing tests your wits better than that. It was completely worthwhile. - University of Kentucky View Entire Review

I not only became so much more confident in my Spanish, I also became so much more confident in myself. Traveling alone really forces you out of your comfort zone and makes you be in charge. It's exactly what I needed and now I honestly feel like I can do anything. - Colby-Sawyer College View Entire Review
