Not only was I immersed in a language and culture and felt completely comfortable in doing so from the beginning, but I literally made some of my best friends here at this program, both other students that were also in the program, and other people from the host country that I met while I was there! I feel like a completely diff... - Rutgers University - Camden View Entire Review

My experience studying abroad has really opened my eyes to foreign exchange students at my home university at UK. It has made me more aware of them and has motivated me to reach out to several of them because I've been in their shoes before. They always seem so thankful to be noticed and paid attention to. It's hard to adjust to... - Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico - Aguadilla Campus View Entire Review
It was definitely worth it. The class was challenging and the Spanish a little over my head but that level class was all that was offered in the time period I choose. The January program, I think, is an excellent option and something not offered by all study abroad programs. Having it then allowed me to fit in a study abroad exp... - William Jewell College View Entire Review

I have learned a great deal more about the culture in Costa Rica. I have always been interested in other countries, languages, and cultures.
