I was pushed out of my comfort zone to make new friends and was forced to speak Spanish more often.

German was great!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The host mom was not very open to food suggestions and did not put effort into getting to me and my roomate as guests in her house. She kept wanting us to leave every weekend that we where there so we can take trips herself.

* Food:

We had a tuna for 3 days straight because our host mom did not want to cook anything.

I felt really safe at all times!!

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Granada was pretty affordable so living with $100 a week was very possible.
