What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to appreciate things I didn't understand. I think I am a more curious person now and more likely to do things I have never done before. Also, I gained confidence in my abilities to speak Spanish.

Our program director was very kind and knowledgeable. She was always willing to help in anyway.

Our host mom was amazing. She liked to interact with us and very sweet. She always made sure we were taken care of. Our host brothers were very welcoming and showed us around the city on many occasions.

The people of the country are very friendly!

Overall felt safe. Advise crossing streets with caution.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program in Costa Rica, as well as the people of the country, provided me with a newfound appreciate for the earth and its beauty. The university was in a convenient location.
