What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a totally new perspective on health care and the role it plays in the world. This perspective showed me many more possibilities for paths I could take in my life and introduced me to new interests.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? The more meals you eat at home or with your host family, the less money you spend. Most of the money I spent was on snacks and meals that I had with friends after classes. If I had gone home to eat, I would've spent almost nothing.
