I have a much better grasp of spanish and independence. - Colby College View Entire Review
One of the most important things I gained was a perspective of world history from a country that wasn't the U.S. It can be a little perturbing, especially to see how history is told from a country that was a major European colonial power, but it's eye opening. - Amherst College View Entire Review
I learned how to be independent in a culture and language that was not my own. - Smith College View Entire Review
I gained new friends, a new family and new Spanish capabilities. I learned how to calm down, enjoy life and destress. It was totally worthwhile and I would recommend this program to anyone and everyone who wants to practice Spanish and have a great, fun time abroad. - Smith College View Entire Review
Definitely - learned a lot about the language, made connections with people, learned about different points of view. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned how to adapt to a culture very different from my own. I learned how to problem solve when I had difficulty with language. I learned an entirely new set of customs and traditions. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned to be independent and to talk to people more confidently in a foreign language -- it was absolutely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself and how I work in a culture that is much more relaxed. I really enjoyed this time to prioritise different things in my life other than getting good grades. It was definitely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
