I gained confidence in my Spanish and met amazing new friends. I also was given the time to reevaluate what is important to me and find the right balance for my life. Being able to thrive in a country with a different pace, culture, and language was incredibly rewarding for me and gave me motivation to continue getting out of my... I gained much more confidence in my language ability and many new friends. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My language skills improved quite a bit--especially my vocabulary and ease of speaking in Spanish. I also met some really cool people, both other European study abroad students and Spanish students that I will definitely be keeping in touch with. I left feeling fulfilled and grateful for the experience. Sarah M - Wellesley College View Entire Review
International perspective A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned so much about how different life is in Europe from fashion trends to just like the pace. I don't know if it was because I felt like I was on vacation, but there was just less pressure and stress. Everything I did felt very much about being in the moment and just enjoying it. I learned a lot about myself and felt like I had a great academic semester as well with the language immersion component A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I learned how to be an adult. Not only have I taken these skills back home with me, but it made me realize how much easier adulting would be than I realized. It could be fun and is not as scary as some may think it to be. Being "alone" in Spain allowed me to really hone my social skills and start making friends from "scratch." I became more confident in Spanish, I also became more confident in myself. Having to navigate a completely new culture I was in uncomfortable situations that I was able to navigate and I therefore became more confident. Sofia Z - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My Spanish improved drastically, and I enjoyed learning a lot of colloquial Spanish. As someone who wanted to go abroad for my Spanish major and for language acquisition purposes, it was definitely worthwhile! A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review

My experience abroad allowed me to gain an international lens and wider perspective on all issues. The experience of living with a host family was invaluable and the cultural and language immersion was key to my success, growth, and enjoyment during my time. I became much more fluent in Spanish and learned a lot about handling myself independently in a foreign country. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned I never want to live in Cordoba again, but it was a good thing to learn, very interesting to live in a foreign country especially with a host family because it makes you feel more integrated to the culture. Also my spanish improved a ton and I feel mostly fluent now, definitely worth it Ilana Tamir - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I depended my knowledge of Spanish, local Spanish culture and history, and my own self-confidence and global thinking. It was worthwhile in these senses, but who knows- I probably would have experienced the same things if I did another program somewhere else. The program was great but I just wasn't satisfied with my time in Spai... Juniper - Wellesley College View Entire Review
