My confidence in my writing and my writing and researching skills improved vastly. I also learnt how to accommodate living in a space with a few dozen other students and gained confidence in putting myself outside my comfort zone to really enjoy my time abroad - Wellesley College View Entire Review
How to be a more critical reader, how to be a better academic writer, how to budget my limited time with nearly unlimited schoolwork and athletics. It was absolutely worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review

About

The Middlebury College-CMRS Oxford humanities Program offers a semester of yearlong study abroad experience in Oxford, England. Its affiliation with Keble College and central location in the historic city provides multiple opportunities for students to engage in Oxford's academic and cultural life.

The semester program curriculum is rooted in the liberal arts tradition: qualified students from all disciplines are welcome to apply.  The overall aim is to provide each student with a rigorous training in particular disciplines within the context of a broad and well-balanced academic, cultural, and social life. Certain qualities are necessary if a student is to obtain maximum benefit from an education here: an inquiring mind, a critical approach to facts and, above all, a capacity for creative as well as analytical thought.
