It helped me grow as a person. It was the first time I ever cooked for myself. And even though I have lived away from home for 5 years at that point, I felt a whole lot more independent. I learnt that libraries are hidden jewel mines waiting to be discovered. It was worth it for sure. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about the British educational system. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I really learned how to care about my work because it was personally interesting to me, not because it was assigned. Super worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review

Past Review *Study* Abroad
I learned more than I have at Middlebury. The tutorial system is something to experience. It's far better than lectures or seminars and even though I entails long hours in the library. The location is top notch. Oxford is an iconic place with a surprising amount of geographic variety and is a short train ride into central London... - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I learned the most when I was traveling, but not all students will have the privilege to do this, so for the general middle or lower class student population, I do not think that this program in particular is worthwhile. There was also hardly any support system for students of low income status. Everyone seemed to just assume th... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was worthwhile. I made a good friend in addition to some useful connections. - University of San Francisco View Entire Review

Academically, I learned how to be a better writer, researcher, and student through the rigorous but incredibly valuable curriculum. Personally, I learned how to live in a new city, country, and continent - both aspects helped me grow in innumerable ways and become more confident in myself. It was absolutely worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I gained an much more worldly mindset and perspective. I know can imagine myself living in Europe more long term in the future. It was very worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
Definitely learned to be more independent. I learned a lot academically, so that's good because I still have another year of school. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I really improved as a student, especially in my independent abilities. I also have seen a noticeable difference in my academic confidence, especially in discussion. I made amazing friends who I still keep in touch with. Oxford is just also a magical and beautiful place. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
CMRS was pretty intense but I learned how to engage more deeply with texts and write better essays. I made a lot of new friends and came back a far better student. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
An intensified focus on learning and balance in all aspects of my life - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I had never spent a significant amount of time abroad, so on top of the academic learning, I was able to get to know a part of the world I had never been exposed to before. I left feeling like I truly knew Oxford. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from the tutorials I took, great choral music experience, and an appreciation of necking pints at the pub. So yeah, worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I gained the knowledge from the professors and tutors, the experience of living abroad for several months, and the feeling of a writing intensive course load. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
