I learned the most when I was traveling, but not all students will have the privilege to do this, so for the general middle or lower class student population, I do not think that this program in particular is worthwhile. There was also hardly any support system for students of low income status. Everyone seemed to just assume th... A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Since I spent every week writing two essays and worked on a giant research paper for the last three weeks of the program, I really improved my essay writing and analytic skills and learned many tips. About
The Middlebury College-CMRS Oxford humanities Program offers a semester of yearlong study abroad experience in Oxford, England. Its affiliation with Keble College and central location in the historic city provides multiple opportunities for students to engage in Oxford's academic and cultural life.
The semester program curriculum is rooted in the liberal arts tradition: qualified students from all disciplines are welcome to apply. The overall aim is to provide each student with a rigorous training in particular disciplines within the context of a broad and well-balanced academic, cultural, and social life. Certain qualities are necessary if a student is to obtain maximum benefit from an education here: an inquiring mind, a critical approach to facts and, above all, a capacity for creative as well as analytical thought.
