What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that us Americans do not get he taste of other cultures as much as we should. The cultures that we got to experience knew about American culture and was able to accommodate, and from my experience we are lacking in the return of that. IBI was absolutely amazing and I would do it all over again!

There was so much to get out of this program. It pushed you to different measures and that is what I liked the most about it!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have knew how hard it was going to be. We heard about all of the good things, but were not warned about the intense weather, or how fatigue would kick in many times.
