About

The KIIS Tanzania program includes service-learning/internships for students in health related majors such as medicine, nursing, health administration, public health and social work. A site lecture at the world-famous archeological sites of Olduvai Gorge (Cradle of Humankind) will be provided to students taking anthropology, while excursions to Serengeti (Safari Green) and Zanzibar (Safari Blue) will lead to the rich land and sea biodiversity of Tanzania.

The program is based in the capital city of Dar es Salaam. Students are housed in a hotel that provides attractive amenities for group guests and events; they include 24/7 wifi, state of the art conference room, in-room temperature control, and outdoor class facilities.
