While I really enjoyed my time here, sadly the administration was very poor. It was like they didn't even know we were coming. Forms that were mandatory for us to fill out so we could send them to the German government weren't sent to us until the day of and we had to quickly fill them out. The administrator in charge of the study abroad students would send rude responses to questions, or wouldn't respond for a week. Our student IDs and travel documents were not prepared for us before we arrived, we had to wait 2 weeks before they were made, even though we filled out all the paperwork for the documents months before. There was only one get together for the study abroad students at the very beginning of the semester, and nothing after that. We never met the administrative coordinator in charge of the study abroad students even though there were only 18 of us. |

Jacobs is great, but don't come here to integrate with the local german culture. It is an international university. It is very unlikely you will have any german people in your class |
