What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was able to travel around Europe. Meet new friends. Understand cross-cultural relationships. Eat some good food.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Really enjoyed the Bauhaus course most of all. The profs weren't as attentive or communicative to the students. While the classes were interesting, I don't feel I learned anything that I could use in the future or feel challenged in any way.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Not helpful at all and didn't really feel there was someone I could turn to when I had an issue. Very disorganized and not communicative with distributing resources to the students.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Nice roommate, large room, and adequate bathroom area. Just wish there was more accessibility to the kitchens and more efficient cleanings of the shared spaces.

* Food:

Didn't really like the food overall

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Had to get a QR code for my COVID vaccination and was dismissed immediately for not having a physical copy of my insurance card. Tried to explain to the health professional that I have one but wouldn't give me the time of day.

* Safety:

Didn't feel safe walking alone, even on campus.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 20-50
