It was worthwhile. I learned a lot about being on my own and being open to new experiences. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I got an international experience, especially in a medical context, which I was happy about. It was worthwhile because I'm not sure if I would have had this opportunity otherwise. I do wish that the program had been better fleshed out and that the administration was more supportive - Wellesley College View Entire Review

The clinical portion of this program was great. Other than that, I think there's a huge need for improvement from both sides (wellesley and jacobs) in informing students of what will be provided and what won't be. There is serious improvement needed on Jacobs' side in terms of supporting their international students that I did n... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I definitely learned a lot about how people live in different countries (e.g. food, culture, habits, healthcare systems etc.). I also got to see a lot: I especially liked seeing the art, architecture, and landscapes of different countries. I also gained a lot of experience with planning when I organized travel plans. I also got ... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I am still glad I went abroad because I had some invaluable life experiences and got to do a lot of travelling. I think that in concept, this program is a great opportunity for pre-medical students, but the university accommodation needs to be fundamentally changed. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I gained exposure to European culture, however mostly anything gained was from my personal endeavors and not what the program had to offer. I will say I did enjoy the European Healthcare course though and it’s excursions. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
The most worthwhile experience was being able to work in the dialysis clinic. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I saw how other countries function differently from the US, and how social norms differ by country. I got to travel to many countries and meet people from all over the world. From being away for a semester, I also came to appreciate Wellesley and the people at Wellesley more. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
America's has a heavy influence in the international sphere, but its economy is not the most flourishing, and in my opinion can learn from the welfare state models of Europe English is really the international language Europe has a very rich culture - a lot of ingrained traditions Germany is leading the effort in sustainabi... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Totally worthwhile. I grew a lot - Wellesley College View Entire Review
The clinical practicum and biochemistry course for pre-meds was the academic highlight of this experience. Wellesley and Jacobs were also rather felxible in allowing certain classes to fulfill distribution requirements, which I appreciated. Though the academics at Jacobs itself was lackluster, the overall experience prevented me... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned that I could take a semester off from school while still getting credit by attending this host university - Wellesley College View Entire Review
The Clinical experience I gained and travels made the experience worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I went outside my comfort zone, and now my comfort zone is larger. I learned how to be grateful while others complained, and things don't have to be perfect to be invaluable. It was important for me to enjoy Germany, and I was happy to soak in their cultural quirks. In the face of adversities, I gained independence and resilienc... - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I gained a LOT from going abroad and emphatically recommend it to anyone thinking about it. I learned about who I was outside of being an academic, which was really important new information that I wouldn't have received at my home university. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
