Somewhat. I made friends but also I experienced things that i have never before.

My housing was great. It was better than most. we were in a safe neighborhood and a loving family.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language acquisition improvement?

No everyone spoke Spanish and I got to practice with my wonderful host family who introduced me to a lot of family members. I had to use Spanish everyday.
