I actually became very ill for about a week while I was abroad. The ISA staff helped me so much and even took me to the hospital. My doctor spoke English and prescribed me some medicine. Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'

Individual Course Reviews

Course Name/Rating:

Italian Food and Culture

Course Department:
Instructor:
Instruction Language: English
Comments: Don't take it unless you would like to have to read extensive amounts every week, complete many assignments, with a very challenging exam and super long final paper. It wasn't anything like I had expected the course to be. It was basically about the history and evolution of food in Italy throughout the changing culture. I did not find the concepts or class very interesting and the amount of work was not worth it.
