Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Tipping at restaurants, countries are different when it comes to tipping. In tourist area be careful because they will try to take as much money from people as possible

try to communicate with the natives, they appreciate that so much more. And when you talk in their language they are more welling you will get what you want
