What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about myself, other cultures, and what I want for my future. This was the most worthwhile experience I have ever had. I grew more in those five months that I have in 5 years.

The house and housemates were amazing! The landlord wasn't the best at responding to our needs, though.

I felt extremely safe in Australia. However, Newcastle had some bar violence.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Everything is about 2-2.5 times the price here. Bananas, nuts, and alcohol were especially expensive.
