The differences were not an issue and the professors were great.

Everyone was accessible and very friendly. They were very knowledgeable and helpful.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing was nice and the host family I stayed with was great. We did not need to purchase much at all. Our host family was very kind and made us part of the family.

Food in Morocco is amazing!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Our trip to the Saharan desert to camp was unforgettable! We danced to traditional music, rode camels, star gazed, climbed sand dunes, and so much more.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

The safety of participants is very important to everyone who works with the program. There was only one issue during my program and it was very small.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I used the host language daily and spoke it with my host family and professors. Most people in the country did not speak English.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? This program is great for anyone who really wants to improve there Arabic or French. The country and people are beautiful and anyone with a sense of adventure will love the experience.

Comments: The professor was very enthusiastic about what he was teaching. Although he didn't speak English, he was doing his best to learn and a translator was provided. The class trips were great and informational.
