Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

There was a lot less daily homework which was really nice. That gave us a lot more time to get out and enjoy the culture. The midterms and exams were all essay questions, so you had to make sure you really studied so you knew all the vocab you would need, and stuff like that.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

We had great directors, and they did a great job to make sure we all enjoyed our time there. They showed us around town, took us sightseeing, and helped us in any way we needed. I though the size of the Malaga program was perfect. It was small enough that we could all hang out together, which was nice.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

It was very safe, and within walking distance of everything.

* Food:

Make sure to find a Cien Montaditos and go on Wednesdays!!!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Malaga is a very safe city, I never felt uncomfortable walking home at night. the only incident our group had was one girl had her purse stolen, but she had set it down in a club. We went to the police station and filed a report, but it was never turned in. We had no health issues.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
