What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained more than I can even describe. I am such a different person and I grew more in those two months than I have in all of my previous years combined!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

My professors were extremely helpful in teaching us the material. The course information was relevant to my studies as well.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My host family was so welcoming and friendly and was extremely helpful in immersing myself in the language.

The food was amazing and different.

Such a wonderfully different culture.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

When I went to the doctor there the doctor didn't really examine me he just wrote me a prescription after five minutes of me being there. However, there was no time wasted and the meds sort of helped.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program was so organized and helpful! The activities allowed me to have options without being overwhelmed. The staff was absolutely amazing.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Málaga is amongst the cheaper places to live in Spain and it's very easy to enjoy free activities.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Save as much as you can so you can enjoy as much as you can. I saved enough so I wouldn't have to limit myself when studying abroad and that was the best thing i could have done.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Practice conversation with anybody and everybody. The hardest part is trying to put together a sentence.
