Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

All was good except for the finals on the last day in town. It was impossible to not be very stressed with all that was going. Finals, packing, last minute things.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Very good location and great guys.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The home was very hard to get to and far from everything. It was a nice place and very good accommodations but the host mom didn't live there because she lived in Madrid ( we were in Malaga) most of the time which left the dad to do everything and he wasn't great at caring. We had a maid but she was only there 3hrs a day during the week and she was the only one who considered everything. The family had children but only the youngest who is 15 was there all the time. It was hard to study since they would blast the music at its loudest especially if you asked them to bring it down. My roommate also had problems with their clothes being taken out of their closet and being worn by the 15 year old w/o permission.

* Food:

Food was well.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

it was great going to all those places but my favourite was Sevilla, definitely worth more than the two days they gave us.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Malaga is a very calm beautiful city. Just watch out for the flower ladies!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

Dont be shy! I think everyone is very welcoming when you at least try!
