Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I didnt like how I lived with one elderly woman who had no husband and no children. I feel like that was not a good exposure to Spanish culture. I would have preferred there to be children so that I could see family interaction and so that the younger generation could show me what spain is like through younger eyes.

* Food:

I felt as if my Senora was being cheap with me. I cant tell you how many times I had lentils. There was no breakfast or snack that we could eat while starving at school. She also wanted us to heat up week-old (or maybe more) coffee that she stored in the refrigerator. Have you ever heard or such things?

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
