Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

This was a most enlightening experience that enhanced my knowledge in diverse methods of education.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program provided us with what to expect in terms of weather conditions, housing, orientation to the areas as well as to address safety issues while abroad.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Our group was treated without bias as study abroad students.

* Food:

The variety of cuisine available sparked interest and at times delighted the palate.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Our groups visit to areas of our research such as Toynbee Hall that related to my social work class, observing a case in the courts of Parliment that related to my Oral Communications class and touring London enabled me to see up close and personal the places I had only read about.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

We were housed in an affluent neighborhood and safety issues were addressed with no room left for non-compliance on suggestion from our instructors.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Monetarily food was never an issue, personal items were at the bare minimum because all our basic needs were being met.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Instructions from the faculty will give you the basics on spending wisely.
