What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained independence, maturity, cultural values, and an interest in traveling the world! Definitely worthwhile. My only regret is I didn't get to be there longer!

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Great, informative classes with field trips that were educational and related to the subjects while also being fun!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The administration leaders were so helpful and involved! I felt I knew them on a personal level and could go to them for anything.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The flat/dorm we stayed in was great and well-kept! I also loved how close we were to multiple town centers.

* Food:

Great food! Very similar to the US.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Very integrated- we could walk to multiple towns and the people who lived there were so friendly!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I personally didn't have to use the health office, but my friend did and she said they were helpful and quick.

* Safety:

Very safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Very easy- it's all about how you personally budget.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Each week, probably $200.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Put pictures around your room of the place you are going! It will motivate you to want to spend money there and not at home
