It was worth it to get away from the home university for a while to see something new. I know I didn't make a ton of friends while I was here, but I learned new things, and I met new people, and I saw things I never saw before such as the Great barrier reef, and it was amazing. The scholarship is both merit and financial need-based scholarships for the study abroad expenses for the summer term of the student awardees
