Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Challenging classes, nice that it was a good cultural and academic expereience

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Very friendly, willing to help, and open. They were timely with addressing any issues and were always there to help. The office was a great place to study, use the internet, or just stop by to see a friendly face.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing was very nice. Everyone lived very close together. I wish there were more South Africans living among us. Perhaps 2 Americans and 1 South African in each apartment or something.

* Food:

The meal money was nice to have but since its bought in bulk it wasnt always the best exchange rate.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I was very integrated. I had a lot of friends from the area and other African countries.

I wouldnt know

* Safety:

I felt pretty safe. the emergency system seemed reliable

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

* Was food included in your program cost? Yes
