Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They are all really friendly and remember who you are, know a lot, and are really helpful in anything you may need.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The lady I lived with was very sweet and loved talking to us. Her house was in a neighborhood that was a little too far away from relevant activities.

* Food:

She was very willing to adjust to our eating preferences as both my roommate and I were vegetarians and she wasn't.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Barcelona is a dangerous city for women.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

There weren't too many health issues, but ISA didn't seem to deal with it at all. I felt pretty safe for the city, though.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I didn't really bank there.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

Host family and teacher in class. Basics could be used with people in shops.
