It was beyond worthwhile, it was an amazing time. I learned so much about different cultures as well as learning a lot about myself

I got an ear infection for the last month of the program, the hospital was about 45 minutes away and my doctor only spoke spanish, but the staff was very nice, and luckily i spoke spanish as well. Unfortunately when this should have been cured in 3 days it took over a month due to the wrong antibiotics being prescribed. also they did not prescribe pain medication that worked well.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? make sure to find little side, hole-in-the-wall cafes to eat at when you want to eat out, they are both the cheapest places and the best places to eat
