International Business Seminars: Summer Europe

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This trip taught me a lot about adapting to new environments, time management, team work, and learning about international business. Which is valued in the United States for businesses who are unaware of how hard this may be, with the different cultures.

Personal Information

* Social & Cultural Integration:

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt so safe the whole time we were abroad, in every situation we were put in. The leaders were very knowledgeable about the different dangers in every country and were able to warn us about them.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I could not have imagined going to Europe through any other program. They are very accommodating to all types of situations, whether you want to use this seminar as a credit or not, and even if you’re a nonbusiness major. This program really gives you the freedom to immerse yourself in the culture as much as you’d like, through all the free time you have to explore the cities.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? around $360.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take your food to go, because most of Europe has a "sitting fee", which is actually them up-charging you for the same food if you sit in the restaurant instead of taking it to go.

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No
