There was never a moment that I felt unsafe. Being aware of one's surroundings is very important though.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? You are able to spend as little or as much as you want to. The majority of money I spent was on food, but in most of the countries finding cheap meals was definitely doable.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • We got to see so much in a short amount of time
  • Being surrounded by cultures different than my own.
* What could be improved?
  • There are some seminars and tours that could have been better
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I should not have worried about not knowing anyone beforehand, and I should have done more research before going so I could have had a better idea of what to do in my free time.
