We got to interact with and experience life within the culture of Beijing and Shanghai. It was amazing getting to know how the people operate daily. |

Safety was not an issue. Asia sounds like a scary place, but I felt completely safe the entire time. |

A student budget is always difficult. In china, things are way cheaper, which helped. Proper planning is important. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Budget your time and make a list of who you really want to buy things for. I got home and didn't even end up sending souvineers to the people I was intending to. |
