My internship program was a worthwhile experience, now i'm back home and since i've been applying for jobs, my work experience in China stands out all the time.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

GAC was always available on the phone. The staff were really friendly and supportive

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My living arrangement was great, I stayed with a very caring and friendly host family.

* Food:

The food was great and as a vegetarian, there was always so much food and choices to choose.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The cultural activities and trips organised by GAC were fun and made me more understanding of the chinese culture.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I didnt have any health issues during my stay. Though I would suggest coming with some medicine or first aid.

* Safety:

My stay in China was safe. I had no issues at all.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Having an internship abroad on my Cv has proved really beneficial in my job search and I got to travel to China. I would definitely do it again.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I had huge doubts about China before I left base on a few reviews I had found online, but I am glad I took the chance and gained very worthwhile and valuable experience
