Forum-Nexus: Ultimate Summer in Europe - 9 Cities in 1 Month

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My month abroad in Europe with Forum Nexus made for the most memorable summer of my life! Studying abroad had always been at the top of my “must-dos” list for college. In five weeks I was able to travel through five different countries and eleven enchanting cities (optional weekend trips). This was my very first trip out of the United States and I couldn’t imagine traveling with a better group of people. Forum Nexus had the most professional, friendly, and knowledgeable staff and professors, and the other students were so interesting and culturally diverse. It was an amazing feeling to be surrounded by others who were as passionate to travel as much as myself. Overall every single country was amazing and had something beautiful and unique to offer each person. I learned so much about Europe, it only fueled my desire to learn and travel more. I made great friends who I still keep in touch with and will carry these memories for a lifetime! I absolutely recommend Forum-Nexus to any college student looking to travel, learn about other cultures, and have an incredible fun and enriching summer!

A staff member or professor was always at arms length if we needed their help or assistance with anything. They were friendly, knowledgable, and made the most fun out of our time! Super pleased with how they accommodated everyone on this trip!

Forum-Nexus put us in some of the nicest hotels in Europe. Every places was safe, clean, and spacious.

European food is so amazing. Our hotels provided the breakfast daily, so we were in charge of buying lunch and dinner. This was a good opportunity to explore more of the city and try some great culturally unique dishes!

The staff adequately prepared us on being cautious of pick-picketers and how to stay out of unsafe situations. I didn't have a single problem while abroad!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I didn't keep a budget but I wish I would've!! I highly recommend that to anyone who goes abroad.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • I loved how much of Europe I was able to see, the friends I made and people I met, and European food was amazing!
* What could be improved?
  • Minor organization improvements could be made
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had done a little more research on European monuments and points of interest, just to refresh my memory and have a better understanding when I went to those places. I also wish I had packed lighter and budgeted my money! Also I wish someone had told me there is no such things as a free public restroom! I had to pay to use a bathroom multiple times.
