100% worthwhile. I had the best four months of my life. - Truman State University View Entire Review
It is hard to say what you have learned until you go home, which I won't be doing for 2 more weeks. I learned how to plan and travel better than I had known. I realized that the people are what make most of an experience. Studying abroad is worthwhile, but if you want to delve into the culture, it will be very very hard to do in... - Truman State University View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself, through my philosophy class which I loved, as well as through the experiences that I had and having to overcome these obstacles with none of my normal support system. I also feel like a learned a lot about the perspective of people from hundreds of years ago, due to the time spent in such an ancient... - Truman State University View Entire Review
It was so worthwhile. I feel as though I matured and learned so much. I chose Italy because I am into cooking, food and wine and I am very pleased with my decision. - Truman State University View Entire Review
I learned so much more than I expected to. I can't even explain how much more independent I feel now. It was a semester of firsts, and it was the best four months of my life. - Truman State University View Entire Review

I gained a whole knew outlook on myself and many new friendships that I think will last a very long time. It was definitely worthwhile. I had the most amazing time and I want to go back to Italy. - Illinois State University View Entire Review
Most definitely. I gained a lot of independence. I gained a greater knowledge of a culture other than my own. I gained practical skills in cooking and wine tasting. I gained cultural enrichment from the city of Florence. I definitely plan to go back for an extended period of time. - Truman State University View Entire Review
Absolute worthwhile. There will always be minor complaints, but the people I met and the experiences I had far outweighed these. I feel way more culturally aware, in a way one can only be after experiencing another culture for an extended period of time. I have always wanted to spend more time learning in Europe, and this pro... - Truman State University View Entire Review
