What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to live in a foreign culture and try to understand customs and traditions different from my own. It was a worthwhile experience.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? My expenses could have been lower if I had done less traveling and gone without a gym (gym membership was pretty expensive, but I decided it was worth it).

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It's very cold and rainy in Jordan in the winter, so rain gear and warm clothes are MUSTS.
