Konkuk University (1959) – meaning “founding a nation” – located in Seoul, is one of the leading top ten Universities in Korea. With over 1000 full-time faculty, and a student body of about 26,000 students, the university is known for its research – having over 60 research centers and institutes. The 4-week summer program is for international students worldwide. Taught in English, this program is suitable for students majoring in various fields of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Business, as well as having a interest in Korean culture and language, or Asia in general. The Korean Language Program is open to all students and adults worldwide and is held year-around, Quarter (10 wk) sessions, and short term summer session. Students earn transferable credit for the courses, participate in cultural activities and field trips to historical places, live in a modern dormitory on campus, and overall gain an understanding of this economic vibrant region of Asia. Early registration is advised. Open to all students and adults. Minimum age is 17. Fluency in English required for the 4 wk Summer program. Can arrange own housing if you prefer. Join us !
