CEA CAPA Education Abroad: Rome, Italy

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about the way other cultures live. It is very different from America and it is important to try to immerse yourself in the Italian culture as much as possible. You won't feel truly comfortable living in Italy unless you adapt to some of their customs. Other than living in Rome, I traveled with friends around Europe on some weekends, which was a very rewarding experience. I had the opportunity to visit famous, beautiful cities with my best friends. It was the best 4 months of my life!
