Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program that I was enrolled in was wonderful. I leared so much in my Architecture of Paris course. Professor Tilly is amazing. My French course at Institut Catholique was also exceptional. Overall this was one of the best educational experiences I've had in my life. Thank You for that!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I found no weaknesses. All that are involved with CEA-Paris are wonderful!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

The food in Paris is as good as everyone says it is! Some of my favorites were: Hure, which is a patisserie on Rue Rambuteau as well as Station Rambuteau, also on Rue Rambuteau, which has amazing Boeuf Bourguinon! Enjoy!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I took a field trip to Mont St. Michel, and Givery, which was great! I was also in Paris for Bastille Day and the Tour de France!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Pickpocketing is an issue. There is crime in Paris, just like any city. Remember not to speak loudly, or to speak a lot of English in public. Keep bags secure, and pockets empty. Above all, look confident, and you'll become confident. This helped me a lot.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
Language acquisition improvement?

Most people spoke English, but I used French wherever and whenever I could.
