My house mom fed us horrible food and did not like cleaning for us

The food we bought for ourselves was fantastic but the food we got with our host mom was awful

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

There is a HUGE american student body in Granada which made it difficult to get to know local people

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Very helpful

* Safety:

Granada is a very safe city

we traveled often and had to buy our own food most of the time because our house mom fed us so poorly

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? buy food from stores and cook for yourselves while traveling....avoid restaurants as much as possible

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Bring your own deodorant....Spain has bad deodorant. And pencils, they don't like pencils in Spain.
