Yes, I met so many people, I learned a ton of spanish among other things and learned about myself.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload is manageable, the grading system is fair however i wish there was more of an chance for grades instead of two tests.

I am quite picky so I did not care for a majority of the meals.

I loved Portugal with the program and Sevilla, everyone here is great!

I never got sick. I had all the vaccines required by the program.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 20-50 euros a week, it depends if you shop, buy snacks, and go out.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I wish I would have eaten at less expensive restaurants in Italy because they charge you to sit down.

Language acquisition improvement?

I had to use the language everywhere, in my host home, at school, in class, when I went to the store. Hardly anyone except the Americans studying abroad spoke english.
