What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was such an amazing experience and definitely one that I will never forget. I think that studying abroad should be a requirement because it is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

there really wasn't homework. The grading system is very different then in the U.S. Grades are mostly just based on a midterm and a final.

I would have liked to have more people that weren't American in my classes.

Bar Poe has awesome tapas. Cafe Futbol is overrated.

Ronda, Cordoba and Seville, Lagos Portugal

* Safety:

healthcare is free which is pretty awesome. Medicine is a pain to get though if you are sick.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

* Was food included in your program cost? Yes
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I didn't really spend much during the week. On weekends I only spent 5-10 euros on tapas or snacks.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Anytime you want to travel to another country you will most likely have to take a 5 hour bus ride to the Madrid airport, which was quite a pain.
